It feels like both yesterday yet a very long time ago that we first met the cheese we’re midwifing from Jasper Hill Farm.
Okay, maybe midwifery is a bit self-important, we’re more like the observing students trying to look smart, learn something and stay out-of-the-way at the same time. All while producing sharp, witty commentary…
Anyway, the cheese boxes from Jasper Hill are a real treat and a fun break in the routine. And not that I’m complaining, but mine has been a routine that could use some breaking.
So, we had a “Welcome to Pennsylvania Alpha Tolman” bona fide homegrown par-tay.
“A what” you ask? Come on over to Culture Magazine & see:

The idea of midwifing cheese, or in my case, midhusbanding, makes me happy. To live closeup to maturing cheese, to talk to it and encourage, weii, that would fo big.
That’s funny SFMB,
Somehow I think midwifing cheese is more pleasurable than actual babies, lol
